5 star Barca !!!!!!!!

It was a pleasure watching Barca thrash Real 5-0 in the first El Classico of the season in Nou Camp. The midfield trio of Xavi, Iniesta and Messi mesmerised the Barca truthfuls in what seemed to be the best total football display by Barca this season. Messi was worldclass and he totally outplayed his nemesis Ronaldo hands down.If only he had scored it would have been a perfect night for the barca maestro.Especially the diagonal through ball which he gave to Villa to score the fourth Barca goal was just amazing.Villa also had a wonderful El Classico debut with a brace, both created by Messi. At one point of time Barca had almost 75% possession which clearly shows how dominant they were.

I read an interesting blog about how Barca's formation was deadly against Real, some of them I have posted below.Guys with footballing knowledge will clearly understand and accept the things mentioned in here....
"It was always going to be an intriguing battle between the 4-2-3-1 of Real Madrid and Barcelona's 4-3-3. And in the end the 4-3-3 won hands down with change to spare.
If you have been reading this column regularly, you will have read that Barca this season have played Lionel Messi in a " false centre forward's " position and thus the tactics deployed by Pep Guardiola centred around this man. By dropping into a central midfield area, Messi made it a three of himself, Andres Iniesta and Xavi against a two of Sami Khedira and Xabi Alonso.
With no direct opponent to mark, the two Real Madrid centrebacks, Pepe and Ricardo stayed close and got drawn towards Khedira and Alonso. This was exploited by David Villa and Pedro then making runs inside their fullbacks and behind the two centrebacks who were stranded too high up the pitch.
The axis of Messi,Iniesta and Xavi repeatedly pulled this ploy and Real Madrid fans were left wondering if their team was deploying the offside trap as a tactic or were desperately hoping someone from the Barcelona team would get caught offside.
The Barca backline held their positions with only the occasional forward runs from fullbacks Eric Abidal and Dani Alves. This gave them the advantage of outnumbering the front three of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and the bumbling Angel di Maria.
With Sergi Busquets tracking Mesut Ozil, Real Madrid created almost nothing the whole match.
As Jose Mourinho tried to change it at halftime by bringing on Lassana Diarra to try to quell the trio of Messi, Iniesta and Xavi, the now free Busquets made it a four versus three again giving the advantage to Barca."

With Barca showing total dominance in the first El CLassico, wots in store for the next. Really wish Barca to thrash Real again in Barnabau.
