VH1 Rockzzzzzz!!!!!

VH1 has been one of my fave channels for a very long time now. They play the coolest tracks and also the very new ones.I start my day listening to VH1, especially the programme "Good Morning" where in they play combination of all the new and smash hit songs.I get charged up listening to these songs, specially in this sad cold weather.I either be watching VH1 or ESPNSTAR most of the time all through the weekend. We roomies each have their own likings, that we have a timetable to watch each of their fave channels.Mornings are reserved for me to watch VH1, while im not supposed to touch the remote after 8 ;).

Its nice that we share our own place when it comes to this and we respect each others likings. Now I ve become a very big fan of "Airtel Super Singer" which is being telecasted in Star Vijay these days.It all started with my roomie who's a big fan of one of the girl in this competition, that he wont let any of us touch the remote until she completes her performance.I also started watching it with nothing else to do after 8 ;), but I ended up loving another girl in the competition :-).So we roomies all have one fave girl in this singing competition, and its become our part of life these days.

So much has been told about Super Singer, lets go back to VH1.The fact that I like is VH1 is not only for the songs they telecast but also its a no nonsense channel without any VJ's and their stupid crap nataaks. Also they put very less of ad's which is really pleasing for an international channel.I download almost every song that is telecasted in VH1, courtesy emp3world.com.I have my own VH1 collections music folder in my system which I have been collecting for the last two years.Im not sure how would I kill my time without listening to VH1, wish they keep up their standards for ever.Channel V and Mtv started like VH1, but totally ended up being a local channels these days, telecasting only hindi songs that too the same tracks all the time.I really dont wanna see VH1 playing hindi songs for ever,God please keep my dreams alive.

Varanam Aayiram - A Total let down

After giving a smash hit movie "Kaakha Kaakha", so much is expected of both Gautam Menon and Soorya for this new one.But the movie seems to be a complete let down, though there has been so much hyped about Soorya's six packs and the stunning soundtracks.I read in a review that it said "Its an emotional movie without any emotions", I felt its totally true after seeing the movie. The narration itself sounded so unreal and without any life to it.The very word "Daddy" sounded so alienated through out the movie, Im confused why Gautam opted to use this when he chose to have a beautiful tamil name for the title.

Im disappointed with the movie cos I expected so much from the team. But still few things are really good in this movie, especially the romance track between Soorya and Sameera Reddy (Never knew she is so damn cute !!!!!).Soorya looks just amazing and amazing, he has dedicated everything for this movie.Either let it be the much spoken about "The sixpacks" or it be the school going kiddo, man this fella can change into anything he want to.The songs of the movie were brilliant, but the pciturization didnt live up to it expect for few ones.

You can watch the movie once for the songs and definitely for Soorya. He is going to change the face of tamil movies for sure.He stands out tall when compared to other crap fellas in the industry.Way to go dude....
